RIDE TO THE RICHINBAR

June 4th, 2024 (Tuesday)

The Richinbar is an extensive mine site (no mine to enter) with a number of ruins. If you enjoy exploring old mine sites and ruins, this trip is for you. As a bonus, this same area was once inhabited by Native Americans who left a number of petroglyphs for us to view as well.
To acces this, it’s a very short drive off I-17 just north of Sunset Point. Very doable with 4-Wheel Drive with good clearance. The route is not technically difficult, but it i rocky (not boulders) in a few places.
